I have to agree with Muzz, at certain parts of the body it is nice. Yesterday I was watching this show, this lady says she likes being a cow, so she had tattoos of a milk cow's skin(the patches of black) on her whole body. That is too extreme. As for bodypiercing, piercing at certain parts of the body is pure disgusting. Putting afew grams of stainless steel through the nipples to me is crazy. In general, tattoo and bodypiercing can be a way the 'carrier' expresses himself/herself. But excessive is a big no-no for me.
I agree with both Muzz and Kian Hong. Tattoo n body piercing is body art but it becomes self-mutilation if it's over done. This may be a new form of art for this era and some people are just plain different in expressing themselves. But when it's over done, that is to the extreme end. They may say that they don't feel any pain but that is only because they have been training to resist the pain, for example through meditation. They may not feel the pain but they won't know when their body part that is under stress will just give up or fail. That is because they trained their mind to think pain is nothin but the body parts has its limit of going through the stress. So the piont is, TOO MUCH tatoo n piercing is bad for our health :P
